ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE LAW

The development of artificial intelligence technologies has made new regulations and compliance processes indispensable in legal practice.

Legal Transformation and Compliance

Our firm treats AI systems not merely as technical infrastructure but as a whole that produces legal consequences in terms of liability, ethics and property rights.

01

The EU AI Act and Risk Analysis

Within this framework, we provide strategic advice on compliance with international legislation, above all the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act). We manage the classification of AI systems into risk categories, fundamental rights impact assessments for systems that process biometric data and the creation of a legal framework that meets the principles of algorithmic transparency.

02

Training Data and Copyright

We also work on whether the data used to train AI models complies with copyright law and on the ownership of the outputs produced. In particular, when open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) are fine-tuned or integrated with external systems, we review the source licence agreements in detail and identify potential licence breaches and legal obligations arising from derivative work status.

03

Authorship and Commercial Use

When the models developed are commercialised, End User Licence Agreements (EULAs) and privacy notices are drafted in line with KVKK and GDPR standards.

The dizzying pace of technology also requires the legal framework to be constantly updated and adapted to new situations. Whether content produced with artificial intelligence (AI) tools has "originality" and therefore qualifies as a work (in light of international precedents such as the Zarya of the Dawn decision) is one of the most debated legal questions today. In this area too, we manage intellectual and industrial property rights in AI-generated output.

04

Liability and Trustworthy AI

Finally, we provide legal support on strict liability principles for damage caused by autonomous systems or algorithmic decisions, and offer preventive legal services based on "Trustworthy AI" principles to prevent algorithmic discrimination and ensure cybersecurity standards.
